NOTTINGHAM GAY PRIDE 2007

Nottingham gay pride is nearly here and all of us at The New Foresters hopes to see you at the Arboretum on Park on Saturday the 28th July from 12 pm .  We have a full day planned of entertainment including our very own beer tent with Pub Prices, Disco with resident DJ’s Amber and Sapphire, Cabaret with Amber and we have also some special guest stars.  Then after we are all going back to The New Foresters for the After pride Party.  Click here to see what is happening and we are looking forward to see you there.  

NEW FORESTERS GOES SMOKING FREE

As from the 1st of July 2007 The New Foresters and the rest of England will go smoke free. At The New Foresters we are all ready for the new law to come into affect and for those customers who are not ready to give up smoking just yet, we have just recently re-done our beer garden with new plants, a water feature additional seating and a large paracel with heaters suitable for the winter time as well as the summer.  Click here to see pictures or why not check it out the next time you are in.  

THANK YOU FROM THE NEW FORESTERS

The New Foresters would like to thank everybody who took part in the danceathon competition on Sunday the 1st July.  Thanks to our dancers and our customers generosity we have been able to raise a few extra pounds for Nottingham Pride.  We are still waiting for some sponsorship money to come in  and as soon as it is all collected we will but tell everybody what was raised.  If you are in the Pub we do have official Pride money boxes so any lose change you might have stick it in it is all going to a good cause.  

TIME FOR A LITTLE CHANGE

At the beginning of July The New Foresters is having some Re-Decoration done, I hear you ask what is being done well you are going to have to come down when the work is completed to have a look.  The work is going to take a couple of weeks to do and because of this we are going to have to slightly change our opening hours over the first couple of weeks in July so that the work can be done.  The new opening hours will be 5pm till 12am  Monday the 2nd till Wednesday the 4th and the week after from Monday 9th July till Wednesday the 11th July.

LATER HOURS FOR THE NEW FORESTERS

From the end of June The New Foresters are extending the bar and disco right though till 3 am yippee I here you say but due to licensing laws we will only be allowed to sell light snacks and refreshments e.g. Soft drinks, water, crisps etc this will happen every Thursday and Friday night this all starts on Thursday 28th of June.  But there is more from Saturday the 30th the bar and disco will be open till 3 am and we will be selling alcohol and every fortnight after will be the same and the weeks in between we will be selling light snacks and refreshments.
